This Privacy Policy explains how Plantista, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") handles your information when you use the Plantista Designer to create garden designs, receive them by email, and order plants. We keep it plain so you know exactly what we collect and why.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you give us as you use the tool:

• Yard photos you upload. We use these to generate your design. They may show parts of your property.
• Your email address. You provide this so we can send you your finished design and, if you place an order, your order confirmation.
• Your ZIP code. We use it to find your growing zone and show plants that suit your area.
• Your design selections. The style, plants, and planting area you pick, so we can build and save your design.
• Order details. If you buy plants, our payment processor collects your payment details directly. We receive the order summary and your contact information, not your full card number.

We also collect basic usage and device information automatically, such as your IP address and how you move through the tool, so we can keep it working and improve it.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate your garden design from your photo and selections.
• Send your finished design to the email address you enter.
• Match plant recommendations to your growing zone using your ZIP code.
• Process and fulfill any plant orders you place, including sending order confirmations.
• Operate, secure, and improve the tool.
• Send you marketing emails, but only if you check the box asking us to. This is separate from your design and order emails, which you receive because you asked for a design or placed an order.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the tool, such as cloud hosting, image storage, our AI design provider, email delivery, and payment processing. They may only use your information to perform work for us. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

When you order plants, we share the details needed to fulfill your order with the garden center or retailer handling it.

4. Marketing Communications

We do not send marketing or promotional emails. The only emails we send relate to the designs and orders you request — such as your design, order confirmation, and pickup or fulfillment details.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the tool, save your design so you can return to it, fulfill your orders, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the parts that identify you. You can ask us to delete your information using the contact details below.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is fully secure, so we cannot promise perfect security.

7. Your Choices

You can opt out of marketing at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children's Privacy

The tool is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
